Artist's Statement
I dreamt about slipping down from the ground and it scared me so much. I drew it and it never comes back. One day I asked my best friend about her nightmares and I drew it too. Then I decided to ask on my Instagram account what scares people in their sleep and suddenly I found out how powerful yet beautiful those dreams are. I started to draw it one by one.
And then I asked about good things. I asked same people to describe spaces what psychologists call “Safe”. And those stories were full of light.
I collect stories. I use digital painting to draw it, because it’s fast. Almost everything in my artworks happens in an abstract setting similar to one you see opening 3d modeling software. This infinite space is filled with figures and images.
I keep all words exactly like people told me. It’s important to look at the picture and read the story behind it.
I’m not sure if it’s possible to understand another person mind, but I’m trying to reflect and save something of it until it vanished away.
